Street Preaching
Open air preaching is becoming a thing of the past. What we read in the Bible is that Yeshua (Jesus) did over 90% of His preaching in the public arena. Peter gave his first sermon in the streets. Paul found public speaking areas to proclaim the Gospel. Yeshua said shout it from the house tops. Jumping to the 1400-1500 Puritans and Pilgrims could be found in the open air arena. Running into the 1600-1800 preachers came out of their churches to preach holiness. Going into 1900 street preachers made their debut with such issues as drinking and lusting. Street preaching continued as the drug and sex age became public. As soceity continues to push the Yeshua the Messiah out of the state and private sector, street preachers again are on the rise.
